COVID-19 Information and Updates

Due to COVID-19 Bishop Parkes has suspended the public celebration of Masses in the Diocese of Saint Petersburg until it can be determined that it is safe to return to normal schedules and public worship.

As of Thursday, March 26, 2020 at 11:27am, the Pinellas County Commission deemed only essential activity trips like grocery store, medical needs, infrastructure as utilities, distributors and construction, government services, healthcare providers, gas stations, to go only food from restaurants, news media, laundromats, banks and hotels remain open.

Due to Religious Organizations not being essential activity per the County Commission, there will be no Confessions on Saturdays and each week the County will re-evaluate and update this order.  Please let us continue to remain prayerful for this sickness to come to an end.

An Act of Spiritual Communion

My Jesus,

I believe that You

are present in the Most Holy Sacrament.

I love You above all things,

and I desire to receive You into my soul.

Since I cannot at this moment

receive You sacramentally,

come at least spiritually into my heart.

I embrace You as if You were already there

and unite myself wholly to You.

Never permit me to be separated from You.

A note from the Fr. Damian
I have made the decision as your Pastor to suspend all parish social activities until further notice.   You can click on this link to watch the Mass via Cathedral of Saint Jude if you are not able to attend Mass with us.   In addition, please check this link for updates on COVID19 from our Bishop.
As a reminder, individuals should stay home from Reconciliation and private prayer hours on Saturdays from 3-4pm, if they are feeling sick, have a family member who is sick or have an immune system that is compromised. It is an act of charity to prevent the spread of a disease.
Let us continue to pray for one and another and for all of those who are infected with the virus.
May our Blessed Mother wrap us in her mantle of good health,

Father Damian
